Delay in monthly periods
I didn't have periods this month and it has been delayed now for 15 days. Usually it occurs monthly with a delay of 5-6 days but this time it's taking a lot amount of time. I am drinking plenty of water and eating papaya and pomegranate as well but it's not happening. Last month the duration was 3 days(usually it stays 5 days for me).Is it a matter of concern and should I visit the doctor immediately or wait for a few more days? What can be the probable cause for so much delay ?

Hello Vanda when you are in stress and sometimes a hormonal imbalances maybe a cause for delay in periods and I would suggest you to share with you more details as in about your marriage or was there any sexual contact before this because we need to rule out pregnancy apart from that if that is not the case then I would suggest you to take progesterone 10 MG tablets twice a day for about 5 days and leave it and then see if you get your periods if not then I would suggest you to consult a gynecologist thank you
