Delay in Period after protected sex.
Hi doctor, i had a protected sex using condom with my girl friend on 6th December just after her period ends,but since then now its almost 40days but she is not getting her period could you please tell us the reason.But she took one ipill 10 days before her last periods came because we had a unprotected intercourse.
Could you please tell us what cause this delay in period.

The cause if delay could be the i pill that she took.
However since failure rates of emergency contraceptives are high its advisable to do a urine pregnancy test , if she doesn't start her periods in nxt 1 week.
