  4. Delay in periods. I jst asked a doctor!

Delay in periods
My last period date was from 2nd nd till 5th but i have not encountered it this month till yet. I am sexually but with protective measures . Today i had a pregancy test but it showed negative result. What could be the possible reason to it. I jst asked a doctor regarding this she said do the pregnancy test after some days. Is pregnancy the only possible reason. Please elaborate.

Like the answers? Consult privately with the doctor of your choice

Do a beta hcg blood test..if that less than 2 you sure are not pregnant.. Then consult direct as there are lots of reasons for delayed cycles.. Thyroid disorders, cyst in ovaries , pcos etc to name a few.. But what is the cause in your case cn be decided only after a history...and symptoms..so consult direct..
