My sister is 4 months pregnant.. she had fever from 2 days and this week its 2 nd time.. it stops and comes again.. when did blood checkup it was dengue ns1 positive.. platelet count is 1.3... widal test is negative.. please help if ther is anything to worry or do we need to admit her

Hello,
If she is Dengue positive then get regular platalet count testing done. If fever continues, get a routine culture test done or she may also require admitting in hospital. Consult a physician for further evaluation. Also, follow up with the obstetrician.

If it's dengue positive .. platelet count has to be repeated every alternate day for one week .. if repeated fever s present please admit take a urine culture / blood culture and also get a physicians opinion .. follow up with your gyanec plz ..
