Dengue Fever
How long does it take to subside dengue fever ? Fever started on Friday evening and it's continuing till today. Still the fever was 102. Platelete count goes to 87k today from 70 yesterday but fever continues to be there. Is there chances of decreasing platelete too after one increased reading ?

It can take upto 2 to 3 weeks for symptomatic relief. Take medication as advised by your doctor and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.. Platelet count can again decrease based on the course of disease.. So until it comes back to normal you should check platelet counts frequently.. Preferably every 2 - 3 days
