Dengue Fever
My sister got affected to Dengue fever and her blood platelets count has been decreased to 42000... Is it dangerous? Will they increase ?? How to increase the blood platelets? Thank you

In dengue fever white blood cells and platelets start dipping from 3 to 5 days of illness with fluid leak from blood vessels......we need to be watchful for these dips and if there is no bleeding we can take adequate fluids and wait without platelet transfusion till it is less than 10000
