Dengue for 3rd day
My brother is suffering from dengue and he is in to medication but his platelets are getting decrease from 1.5 to 70k ! Some people are advising for payapaya leaf as a remedy to improve platelets ! Question is can I take it along with the allopathic treatment ,? If yes how to take it and is there any other way to improve him ? Do help ! Thank you Dr in advance

Hello, dengue is ultimately due to insufficient immunity. Taking papaya leaf may not be sufficient to cure it. You need to supplement it with triterpenes and Sudarshan. Kindly share his reports for complete treatment. Wish him speedy recovery.

There is no specific treatment in allopathy for dengue.just symptomatic treatment is given.if platelet count is very low then platelet transfusion can b done.
