Do i need to have an empty stomach to take the dengue test? The runner from Lal Path Labs will be arriving in an hour's time so just wanted to be sure.

You need not to worry about that.
You can give blood for dengue test.
This test is only recommended if Platelets are very low less than 1 lac. And HCT value deranged.
Only then you can go for specific dengue test
