No root canal is not painful as the dentist numbs the area with anaesthesia in case of pain.
Take:-
•Syp.Augmentin DUO 330mg/3.3ml half tsp twice daily for 5 days
•Syp.Ibugesic 250 mg half tsp SOS
•Warm saline rinses between meals
•Pediflour toothpaste
Yes sir if tooth decay exposed the pulp(nerves) than RCT is required. Otherwise infections will infect ur permanent teeth which is below milk teeth.
Another option is removal of milk teeth but in this case chances of erupting permanent teeth would be crooked.
Next Steps
Consult dentist for rct and filling after lockdown.
Health Tips
In mean time:
-apply Hiora-SG gel3-4 times daily
-warm saline rinsed for every two hours
-Ibugesic plus syrup 4ml as required
If your child has a cavity , the tooth needs to be treated with a filling , pulpotomy ( partial root canal) and finally with RCT ( root canal treatment) .
This can be concluded with X-ray and clinical evaluation .
Yes . Treatment of this tooth is very much required , May be it could be any of the above mentioned treatments .
tooth which is troubling if not treated can lead to serious complications such persistent pain and swelling . Premature loss of milk teeth can lead to loss space for eruption of permanent teeth .
Next Steps
Take proper consultation , along with X-ray
Health Tips
Don’t delay much as if the tooth fractures , it will be difficult to restore this tooth . We have to save this tooth till the child is atleast 10 to 12 years old .
pulp therapy might be required in kids for deep cavities.
the pain can be managed by administering local anaesthesia while treating.post treatment pain will be minimal and the milk tooth can be saved by opting for a crown till the permanant teeth erupt.
