Can I take any kind of dental treatment during pregnancy like tooth removal, cavity, filling or gums pain treatment. Had gum and tooth ache recently, took medicine to subside pain. Will it be better to visit dentist once lockdown is over or should I wait for dental treatment till my delivery.

U can't take any type of dental treatment during this lock down.... Because due to this corona outbreak most of the dental clinic will be closed or else if u are in second trimester than you can reach out to specialized hospitals who provides dental treatment with proper safety and care... But there are many guidelines for safety which the service provider will follow their best... If its paining then reach out to your gynecologist and get medicines well suited to control pain. So that you can get your dental treatment done after lockdown. Thank you. Stay safe take care
You didn't mention which month of pregnancy you are in. Anyway, it's always advisable to wait till the delivery unless and until the emergency is unavoidable. Second trimester is a safe period to undergo dental procedures. But now seeing the recent scenario,it's better to wait until the lockdown gets over. You can visit your dentist for the problem. He'll give you the best treatment option after checkup. In the meantime you can do gargling with warm salt water and in case of any swelling apply ice pack.
Hi...certain dental procedures can be done in pregnancy...will depend upon your medical fitness, which trimester you are in, severity of dental problem...

You can get non invasive dental treatments in your Second trimester of pregnancy ie from week 13-28 . By non invasive i mean professional cleaning , fillings etc . But a major deciding factor for you would be how bad was your pain and also why did you have pain ? Do you have a badly decaying teeth that needs immediate attention or do you have swelling in your gums which is a condition which is common in pregnancy . All these answers can only be answered once you visit a dentist after the lockdown is over and get yourself examined.
Also once you know what treatment is to be done kindly inform your gynaecologist about it and get her opinion on it .
