Depression, anxiety, inferiority complex
I have been depressed over a couple of years. It has been hampering my social life and personal life. I find it difficult to talk to new people and can't initiate small talk. I am 24 years old and will start working. I was working before but quit just because i thought I couldn't do it. I feel anxiety and depression will affect my work life in future as well

Hi. From what you have mentioned, it seems that it is social anxiety which is a bigger concern for you rather than depression. You are right in saying that anxiety and depression will affect your life and it's high time you start acting to end it. Please do consult a psychiatrist and get yourself evaluated. Accordingly, treatment in form of medications and psychotherapy can be initiated.
Next Steps
Please seek a psychiatric consultation.
Health Tips
Start exercising daily. Also start writing diary daily in order to vent out your feelings and emotions.
