I had  taken serta 50 tablets last 5 years.now my doctor prescribed zaptra 12.5mg.i have hypothyroid also.so i want to ask is it safe for me to take antidepression tablets long terms.imy weight also gained

Yes. It is safe to take antidepressants for longer period of time. Ensure there are no  side effects by regular following up. Hypothyroidism also needs regular  following up and long term treatment.
