Loss of interest, decreased concentration and attention, feeling low and disturbed sleep or appetite are some of the signs of depression. Consult a psychiatrist who will assess you in detail. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless, seek professional help immediately.

Hi, welcome to practo, as per the information given by you, if you are suffering from these symptoms for atleast 2 weeks in most of your activities throughout the day, then you are probably suffering from depression. However we have to acess the complete picture, regarding the duration of symptoms , similar past history, then we have to rule out other conditions like recurrent depressive disorder, bipolarity, substance use and other co morbid conditions. You should consult some experienced Psychiatrist for proper evaluation and management. Hope it was helpful. Thanks.Take care.
