Details on Amblyopia
An opthalmologist in this app suggested that Amblyopia can not be caused by a traumatic injury but after injury vision in my left eye affected and it has remained fixed at 6/24 since 3 years now. District hospital near my town has on other side treating me for Amblyopia. Kindly clear my confusion.

Hello A. Amblyopia by definition means unilateral or bilateral loss of vision due to functional cause rather than organic cause...Vision loss could be due to injury but then we will not call it amblyopia B. It is very difficult to comment on cause for low vision in left eye without examining you ... C.. Kindly share your case file so that I may guide you can
