By normal baby ,I think you mean a good weight baby with no birth asphyxia and an uneventful nursery stay.Yes you can have autism in such babies later.
Next Steps
Delay in motor milestones is also possible in normal babies due to other causes like hypothyroidism, inborn errors of metabolism or nuerodegenerative disorders .In all these cases developmental delays will be picked up at a later stage.
