Developmental delay in 9 month old
My son still does not sit up without support or crawl. He rolls overs and does activities lying on his back. On consultation with a Pediatrician I was told every child has their own developmental pace and he should pick up before he is 12 months old. His developmental age was assessed to be 7 months. I still see no progress and worried. Can someone suggest what should be done?

Need to be accessed for developmental delay. A child should have started sitting without support by 10 months .  Any history of delayed crying after birth or any antenatal event or infection has to be look for. Required a proper history including developmental milestones , examination like head circumference etc and investigations eg MRI head and others.
Next Steps
Best is to consult a Pediatrician  or Paediatric  neurologist
