Diabetes Mellitus
My RBS keeps fluctuating, today after lunch it was 357mg/dl. I used to be on oral agents but now the doctor has kept me on insulin 18 units and also asked to take gluconorm500. I had a skin infection recently and tge doctor gave me prednisone for a week after which my blood sugar started to rise. Now the medicine has been stopped n im on insulin but my sugar level is not in control.

Sugar levels may fluctuate based on the action profile of insulin that u r on. If the action profile doesnt match with glucose profile u would have hypos and hypers. Need to review the sugar chart, insulin doses and timing along with meal timing
