I had diabetes before I was pregnant. Now that I am pregnant, how often should I monitor my BG levels? -

I am sure that your Gynaecologist, would have appraised to have your Hba1c < 6.5 prior to conception as its very important , so as to avoid maternal and foetal complications. If in case its well controlled prior to conception (hba1c < 6.5 ) , its advisable to monitor pre and post prandial levels targeting all the meals ,( meaning post breakfast/ lunch/ post dinner) and consult with trained Nutrinost & Diabetologist to titrate the medical nutrition therapy / medications.
