Diabetic ketoacidosis diagnosed
My father has been admitted to hospital 5 days ago , he was having recurrent vomiting and weakness , we immediately went for blood tests like CBC ,sugar , thyroid, Widal , cholesterol And we were shocked to know that his glucose level was 560 , and is also having an infection ,wbc count was 14400 , cholesterol 460 he is 50 years old We went to the doctor , he referred to admit him asap , then treatment got started , we got to know for the very first time that he is having diabetes , on the very second day the sugar level decreased to 370 then 341 ,then again 365 ,then 250 ,then 402 ,then 341 then today , in the morning we were bit satisfied when it came down to 241 but now at 10:00 pm ,his sugar level is 422 , what is going wrong , 2-3 MD doctor and 1 MS is taking the charge of everything but I am a 23 year old daughter and I can't digest and didn't have the patience to handle anything any more Should we need to change the hospital ?? The doctor is saying that it is due to stress
