Dialysis diet
My father is recently hospitalized due to high sugar dat resulted in diabetes skyptpscosis and lead to renal failure stage three provided he has minor blockage in arteries due to which he suffered an attack previously which lead to 30 percent heart damage... doctor suggested hamoe dialysis...and he underwent the same today...I want to know wat diet Shud he take as he is undergoing dialysis right now and can u suggest some trust in Thane which is reliable and will provide dial at cheaper rates...as we are facing financial constraints right now...

Keep track of the amount of liquid u eat and drink.it help to avoid food and beverage that have lots of.....potassium,phosphorus and sodium......limit salt in food u eat....avoid liquid food such as soup,gelatin pudding,ice cream,melons,grapes,apples,oranges,tomato's.control your liquid intake...eating too much potassium can be dangerous to heart..avoid bananas ,kiwis and dry fruits..eat high quality protein becoz it produces less waste for removal such as meat,poultry,fish,egg..u can take olive oil to build calories..saturated fats such as butter are avoided..avoid sugar,honey,jam as u are diabetes...do not take nutritional supplement
