Diarrhea & stomach pain after virechana

Hello. I underwent a virechana therapy for 6 days which included 3 days of medicated ghee, 3 days of massage and steam bath and on the last day the purgative. I had 21 episodes of diarrhea on the day of virechana. I did not have any bowel movement for 2 days after the treatment. On the 3rd day, I have slight diarrhea. What could be the reason. The day after virechana, I ate only moon dal and rice and on the 2nd day I got back to my normal diet. Is it because I got back to normal diet too quickly? Thank you!

Post Virechana for one or two days their will not be any urge of defecation. But third day you had diarrhoea may be due to early start of normal diet. As per the rule you have to wait or follow restrictions for 5 days ( 21 Vegas)
