Difference between lab n glucometer!!
Hi I am 30 weeks pregnant..i have been asked to chk my blood sugar 3 times in a day..now i have a glucometer also..n i go to lab also..now glucometer shows higher result n lab shows low ( within the ideal range)...which figures should i go wid?? Thanks

Diabetes during pregnancy needs to be managed very intensively. Glucometer readings of fasting should be less than 95, one hour post meal less than 140 and 2 hrs post meal of less than 120. This needs to be achieved without causing hypoglycemia. I would suggest that u consult a diabetologist if you haven't already done so.
