If a woman with O+ blood group is given A+ blood during post partom hammeroge in scissorian delivery, then what complications could arise. Can it be fatal

Sorry ,it is not possible even theoretically to transfuse patient with o+ve blood group by A+ ve, And if that blunder happens by ignorance , The patient will have severe allergic reaction within minute 1. Rashes 2.breathing difficulty 3.low blood pressure 5.fever and chills 4. Even death if proper treatment was not given immediately

if u get to see any reactions , stop blood transfusion immediately call for help ,either the sister or doctor

Giving O blood group to other blood group individuals is not being done recently for possible rejection reactions.. Ideal scenario, you should not be giving If it is an emergency, then. O positive can be given to A positive.. This combination usually doesn't cause any side effects.. Even if noticed, it will be mild.. If there are no reactions in first 24 hrs, then rest assured..
