There is nothing called appropriate frequency of masturbation. It’s a complete biological process and it depends person to person, climate to climate and on age. Usually it has been seen that young persons do masturbate more than older one. A young boy learns to masturbate once he achieves his puberty which is the time when our body starts to produce sexsteroids hormones. So it is the Mother Nature who biologically activates a young boy to learn doing masturbation. It also denotes sexual maturity. So it’s a complete natural biological process. Yes... but at times it becomes an illness. When Someone do it in excessive manner, which hampers his day to day activities, compelled to it repeatedly. Then only it becomes an addiction and illness. Which requires treatment. It comes under impulse control disorder.
Next Steps
In young age 1 to 3 time per week is normal.
