Distorted vision in left eye last one mo
Good morning sir/ma'm Left eye   - 0.5 ,+2.50,140 degree Right eye +2.50 Now from both eyes, there is no problem but when looking by only left eye, objects near and away ,both looks distorted at one place with and without spec which is byfoal . By only right eye it is normal. There is brother any spot nor colour change in both eyes. After taking 5mg Amlosef daily BP remains normal. Blood sugar in fasting is 117 and after two hours taking break fast it is 128 test is done on 18th this month. All eye hospital are remains close due to covid 19. Please advise .

Hi ... In all probability,  distorted vision is due to retinal involvement, either due to Diabetes or age related changes... If the vision is more or less ok ...u can wait , sir as n when comfortable If there is a significant decrease in vision , u must see someone ..I m sure some essential service clinic will be open.

Sir the issue can be because of either Cataract or any issues of Diabetic or Hypertensive Retinopathy. Even though the current BP and Diabetes status is under control there can be some changes according to the duration of Diabetes and Hypertension. If the issue is because of Cataract then there is no urgency but if it's because of any Retinopathy then we need to deal with it in time. Mostly distortion of image can be because of issues over Macula. Not possible over tele-consultation to pick the root cause. Better to opt for in person detailed dilated examination of the eye by taking all the safety precautions. If Ophthalmologist are not available at your place then search in any nearby city.
