Doctor asked to undergo C sec delivery
My LFT showed high SGOT and SGPT (141 and 129) even though I have been taking boiled water and home food throughout my pregnancy. On the basis of this my doctor said that it could be dangerous for me and the baby as the baby might pass out stool before delivery and hence we should opt for c sec on said date about 7 to 10 days before the delivery date. Please suggest if we should try for normal delivery or go for c sec as saud by the gynec. Rest all tests were normal.

your condition is called cholestasis of pregnancy n you do need a delivery now if you are already more than 38 weeks. one can try for normal labour as well but it depends upon factors like baby size, adequacy of your bony passage and status of cervix. this can be best assessed by the doctor examining you. but you need to deliver now
