You seem to be going through a tough time. Many times, friends and family members don't believe or agree about a dear one suffering from mental illness. Hallucinations can be experienced only by the patient but not family. The best way out is to educate yourself and them about your condition or even take them to your psychiatrist next time. They may still disagree but it does not mean that you have to disbelieve yourself. Your reality is your reality.
Next Steps
Continue with the medication and add counselling to your treatment so that you can learn how to manage the hallucinations or stop reacting to them altogether.
Health Tips
You are not alone when it comes to feeling misunderstood. It might take some time for your near and dear ones to accept your reality. Till then hang on.
