Does zincovit drop necessary for babies
My daughter is 4 months old and her weight is 5.3kg (birth weight was 2..86). Due to phototherapy treatment in the beginning she didn't gain much weight and after 2 months of her birth she started sleeping long hours at night so didn't feed her much during night time that also caused her slow in gaining the weight. As I got to know the cause since then I started feeding her properly over night time by waking her up in middle of the sleep. 3 to 4th month she gained 750gm of weight. But now doctor has suggested to give zincovit drop 0.5ml per day, my concern is does it really required for my baby? As I believe in natural process in babies growth. Please suggest.

Just went through your concern. Do not worry , you can give Zincovit for a month or so. It is multivitamin and multimineral. It will help to boost the immunity and appetite.
