Doubt for absence seizures
My son is 7 years old. He gets lost by lost i mean he starts looking up like eyeball up and doesnt hear or speak anything...this lasts for few seconds...no shaking anything...while playing he starts walking somewhere...while talking, while taking bath...is this absence seizure?? There hasnt been any past history of seizure in family...what shall i do??

By your description it sure looks like an absence seizures. But to be sure we need to get a EKG brain done. Favourably during seizures. Consult a neurologist/psychiatrist for better approach. It is quite common at this age and there is nothing to worry about. With proper medication it is curable.
