Doubts after cataract surgery.
My cataract operation was done 3 days before i.e. 24th October 2017 and i have been told not to go near gas. My doubt is when can i go near gas and if i can read and watch tv? Also while reading should i use my old specs or wait for some more days.

as such there are not much restrictions  but to be on safer side one must avoid exposure to bright light gas and dust etc.you must not use the old specs.

I presume you had phacoemulsification. What you need to remember is that the wound needs a few days to seal. There is a risk of infection before it does so. I don't believe kitchen gas is detrimental in any way. As for glasses they are just aids ...if you feel that the old glasses help go ahead and use them till the new ones are prescribed.
