Dropping Hemoglobin
Hy, I'm preparing for Commercial Pilot for which my required HB is 13-17. My HB was 12.2 a 45 days ago but I was over weight (73) so to decrease the weight and increase HB I started consuming Vitamin C and iron (Pomegranate, figs, Beatroot, Eggs) and an total cut down of fats and carbs  and started excercising and running. Which resulted in weight loss (69). Increased stamina but my HB dropped to 11.0 I was also consuming iron supplements. I sleep 6hours sleep, excercise, study

Under "diagnosed conditions" you have mentioned you have beta thalassemia minor. Since you have started controlling your diet and also started working out to decrease your weight, your body is under stress (sudden change in daily routine changes the physiology of your body and to adapt to the new routine, body needs some time); as such the rate of new hemoglobin synthesis seems to be a bit reduced, thereby decrease in the count.

Hello, for a male 12.2 is iron deficiency. You need to do a complete blood test and look into your iron stores in your body.
Next Steps
Complete hemogram blood tests. Stool tests etc
