Drug abuse

Asked for Male, 23 Years

I have Severe Neurological illness due to drug use. I even had to stop doing drugs because of the pain I endured in my brain and body. I had no such problems in the past. I don't enjoy my life anymore. It's been 2.5yrs ever since this started to me. I've visited couple of psychiatrist but i somehow feel like there is no end for this pain and it's for life. I have a nice job which fits in perfectly to my needs but somehow I don't feel like I have enough strength to move forward in life. I m scared and broken. Please help.

Hello You are a very brave, courageous person with a strong determination. It takes time and effort to get away from the pain that you are going through. I would recommend you to meet a counselor and speak about your experience and the pain. Talk therapy can be very beneficial along with medication and life style changes.
