Drug interactions
My husband recently got discharged from the hospital (from beinf treated for cellulitis). The dr prescribed citro tab as his antibiotic. When i went to get his script filled the pharmacy notified me that there is a drug interaction with his amiodarone and to make sure he sees his pcp soon . now my husband is afraid to take the antibiotic and on call dr said it would be safe for him to take it and that there us no other oral antibiotic available for his infection

Those medications can be taken together but take care that there is no abnormal heart rate after taking the medication..consult your doctor if you feel any uneasiness..
