Cough is a reflex phenomena it can occur due to irritation right from nose larynx pharynx two lungs. One need to check or examine your baby to say it is a dry or wet cough. In a recent study it has been shown, cough syrup have little effect on cough. so I will advise you try some home remedies to get rid of cough.
