Dry eye problem
Doctor since few days I am facing problem in my left eye.past days I had some light infection/inflammation  in my  left eye, so doctor prescribed me two eye drops..... One for inflammation and other for dry eyes. Redness  went off after medication but still I feel some external particle(kachra) is inside my left eye, but I can't find anything, I feel dryness, uneasiness , sometime   pain on my eye brow as well. Recently I had visions test, my power got incrased to -1.25 ,so now continuously I am wearing spects also, for headache and any kind of uneasiness... But in my left eye I feel strain and, kind of dryness,.. Currently I am using just tears eye drop since week, prescribed by doctor ,but don't know that's not working properly.

Hi sometimes an infection and an allergy can co exist .. it sounds like you have had both and a bit of dryness. I suggest a physical consultation at an ophthalmologist near you to gather the same. Strain is a common feature of dryness and a change in prescription sometimes can be mimicked. Best to see you thoroughly by an ophthalmic surgeon

Few instructions: 1. Follow 20-20 rule. After every 20 minutes of any near work say laptops, mobile or reading take a break and focus for 20 seconds at a far away object at least 20 meters away. 2. Frequently blink your eyes while working, if not possible to remind yourself to blink then at least after 30 minutes of your work slowly close your eyes 10 times. 3. Adequate water intake at least 3-4 litres per day 4. Adequate sleep at least for 7-8 hours 5. Do not rub the eye 6. Use anti reflective coated glasses if you have spectacles 7. Cold compress to the eyes 3 times a day (Can dip clean cotton in refrigerator cold water and keep over closed eyes for 30 seconds)

Start with (1) Eyedrops Refresh Liquigel or Flogel 1% 1 drop 4 times a day for both eyes. (2) Eye ointment Lacrigel. Put little amount inside the eye at bed time for 30 days.
