Patient is a female 78 yrs age. HTN(20+yrs), DM(20+yrs), CABG(12 yrs ago), Asthma, LVDD(stage1), LVH (Concentric)+, CKD(Creatinine 1.4). Just wanted to check if her bp medication correct? Dilzem CD 90mg 1-0-0 Amlodipine 10 mg   0-1-0 Arkamin 0.1 1-0-1 Asking if taking 2 CCB's is advisable?

Excellent treatment.. It’s like putting Dhania and garam masala in sabji, although both are masala But their roles are different.

These are CCBs of different subtypes and different mechanisms of sction. Can take them together no problem

DILZEM CD has different actions at heart and it is given mainly as anti anginal AMLODIPINE IS dihydropyridine CCBs and it reduces blood pressure. Combining both usually doesn't cause harm
