Deep vein thrombosis, or DVT, is caused by a blood clot in a deep vein and can be life-threatening. Symptoms may include swelling, pain, and tenderness, often in the legs. It is confirmed by doing tests such as venous doppler study, venography and MRI. It is treatable if the intervention is done at the correct time, usual modes of treatment are by blood thinners, thrombolytic agent, surgery, vena cava filter and venous thrombectomy.
You should visit the ER at the earliest.

Since how long DVT is there; Any medication you are taking; What is the precipitating cause of DVT
would recommended you to meet Physician and get evaluated for the DVT; If still you want a specialist of DVT; you have to consult a vascular surgeon.
