Blocking sensation in the ears post travel is due to Eustachian tube block due to pressure changes. The easiest way to relieve is to try doing a Valsalva manoeuvre ( try to blow air through your ears whilst keeping your mouth closed and nose pinched with fingers ) gently few times.
Next Steps
Before next flight can put 2 drops of oxyxylometazoline drops in both nostrils 45 mins before boarding. Keep chewing on a gum or swallowing sips of water to equalise pressure in your ears
