Is it ok to give my 2.5 yr old toddler, lidozone drops as his ear is itching? That's what he says. He has slight fever. Already giving him PCM. Thanks

Itching in ear may be due to earwax...so no need to put ear drops without seeing a doctor....you can give paracetamol syp for fever...

Good evening It is always better to undertand the pathology before giving any medication. Only mild ear itching can be left as such. Lidozone contains lignocaine and phenazone. You can use it on SOS basis but don't give it frequently without consulting a pediatrician or ENT specialist. PCM you are giving will help in relieving ear pain too. Hope it helps Thanks
