Can emergency contraceptive pills cause early periods and excessive bleeding for more than 8 days? If yes what can be done if bleeding doesnot stop.

Hi, emergency pills are high dose hormones, so person will get period due to withdrawal effects.Depending upon individual, it may last longer or shorter.You may need a course of antibiotics with good vitamins and minerals  may solve your problem.
