Eating an infected fruit
Is there any possibility of contracting rabies after eating a suspected bat-bitten fruit, e.g. guava?

Hello....  Rabies virus is present salival secretions of rabid dog.. Rabies virus  is sensitive to external environment gets inactivated early..  You clean the fruit before eating so no chance of infection..  And most important virus  enters blood from surface not from git..
