Ecosprin in retinal bleeding
My mother had retinal bleeding in both eyes. The doctor started her one ecosprin daily. Does she really needs it. Because her homocystein , bp, sugar, cholesterol levels are normal. Can she stop ecosprin. If yes then how and if there are any side effecrs.

Hello. Retinal bleeding has many causes... You have not specified the cause for bleeding I assume the cause is vascular occlusion.. In these cases.. We usually recommend Ecosprin to decrease risk of coagulation of blood to prevent similar episode in other eye and to prevent vascular occlusion in brain and heart etc I would not recommend you to stop this Having said that it is provisional diagnosis Kindly share her case file and test reports so that I may guide you better Regards
