Can a women get her periods if she have ectopic pregnancy? And also, what are the symptoms of ectopic pregnancy?

Spotting and abdominal pain with pregnancy test positive are the symptoms of ectopic ..At times can be detected in scan done for dating without symptoms...After treatment for ectopic ,you can have bleeding for some days due to the shedding of lining formed during ectopic....And you can wait for 4 to 6 weeks to get your regular periods..
