EDD calculation
Hello Doctor, My question is on Edd. I have 37 days regular periods cycle. My LMP was March 2 and EDD based on LMP was given in the first checkup as 7th December. But based on USG it has been changed to 17 th December as the baby's scan impression is with gestation of 6.4 weeks which has to be 8 weeks. Now, in the growth scan taken on 8th November it shows, the baby should be 34.3 weeks based on its EDD given but the scan impression  is showing as 35.6 weeks. Initially the baby showed a lower  growth which resulted in changing the EDD from 7 Dec to 17 Dec.Now it showing higher growth impression of 35.6 instead of 34.3. Can you please let me know the correct EDD? Thanks

For expected date of delivery is calculated by neglis formula, in which 9 months and 7days add to your last menstrual period..if cycles are regular.. But Frist trimester early scan between 7-9 weeks are more reliable than anything else.. In ur case ur EDD is 17 th Des. But only 4% pregnancy delivered on EDD and 50-70% delivered 1week before or after EDD... For detail information consult with me online
