Effect of Thyroid medicine on Platelet
I am a patient of Hypothyroid. Now I am taking THYRONORM 88. Recently in a CBC I got report of low platelet count. It has come in 85 thousand/UG. What is the normal level of platelet count. And THYRONORM 88 can make any cause for low platelet count. Please help me.

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Your thyroid medicine is just a supplement of thyroid hormone which is normally produced in humans and inadequately produced in you.
