Elevated bilrubin level
I have an elevated bilrubin level 3.7 which means jaundice. Most people say jaundice is symptom not disease so am confused should I go for further tests or should take medicines for lowering bilrubin level to normal. If further test need please explain which tests are sufficient to find possible cause for it

Atleast get a complete hemogram with ESR and a liver function test. There are many causes of raised bilirubin levels And it needs to be evaluated. U may also need an USG afterwards but get these done at first. Thanx.
