Emergency contraceptive
Hi doc. This is a question for my friend. She had protected sex 2 weeks ago but the condom slipped and so she took emergency contraceptive pill afterwards. While waiting for the withdrawal bleeding on after a week, she had another unprotected intercourse with his boyfriend. So she took another ecp afterwards. She's still waiting for the withdrawal bleeding. She haven't bleed yet after taking 1st ecp. Would it be for another 5-7 days. Is withdrawal bleeding necessary to know if the pill worked?
