Endometrial Hyperplasia
I am hypothyroidism patient, having adenomyosis and later dxd with Em Hyperplasia. Since 7 seven years this is troubling me on and off. Since 6 months, my periods regular 28 days cycle and having little heavier side bleeding and pain in periods and no major trouble related to this. I am suffering with Fibromyalgia since 6 yrs. 2 days back during health checkup it shown 24 mm thickness of endometrium 26 days after period. Dr. advised me to go for D&C and biopsy. My doubt is when it is not troubling me much, can I leave it like this till menopause or must to go for D&C. Pl. advice me.

It is advisable to go for a D & C just to rule out causes of endometrial hyperplasia.even if it doesnt bother u it got detected still.also 24 mm is pretty much thick. Evaluate it further d n c is a minor procedure then u can stay rest assured till menopause.
