After howmany days of rct i can expect the swelling to go away,i got my front tooth rct done 4 days before ..my cheek bone still swelled

Hi Usually pain won't be there after Root canal treatment.you may have mild discomfort when you have periapical infection at the apex of the teeth... You need to go for analgesics and antibiotics as prescribed by your dentist..... Some times pain may be due to high points in teeth crown if you have cap over the root canal treated teeth If pain persists even after one week kindly visit dentist for further clinical and radiological examination

Usually swelling wont be der wen u get ur tooth treated with rct. Unless there is previous infection swelling wont be der....incase if there was pain it will come down immediately after u get rct done. With regards Dr vishnu Ethos dental Narsingi
