Enough milk for baby boy.
I'm having 2 and half months baby boy. His birth weight is 2.8 kg. Now he is 4 kgs at 10 weeks. Is this the correct rate of weight gain? How much a baby should gain weight per week? How can I know if my baby is getting enough milk or not?

Dear parents,          Breast feeding is an art &every mother should try this art. Holding the baby while breastfeeding. Place the head over the elbow joint &holding the buttocks with palm of same arm. That is baby should be at level of breast &not in the lap. While holding the baby in one arm keeping his head at elbow joint start feeding, &then hold the outer palm of baby in between thumb &index finger of mother outer &free hand. Press the thumb of mother over baby outer palm when ever baby try to sleep. Awake the baby &feed, for at least 15to 20mintues . After feeding put the baby on left shoulder and pat just behind stomach level for 5mintues to burpe. After burping place your child on right side of the baby putting a pillow below head maintaining that head is above level of stomach. Mother should know that milk production depends upon 1. sucking of baby, that's demand .  2.   Positive attitude of mother. With sucking a reflex goes to the brain (pituitary gland) with production of prolactin &oxytocin harmone, prolactin increases the production of milk as per our demand &oxytocin releases milk . Mothers indulging in other activity during breast feeding do not respond to babies sucking&thushave inadequate milk &thus baby weight suffer. In initial months 1to4month average wt. Gain is 1kg per month next 4months 0.750kg&last4months.0.500kg per month .addto birth weight.
